How CasaHero works

Step-by-step guides for the most important features — for tenants in the app and for property managers in the web app.

For tenants

As a tenant, you use CasaHero as an app on your smartphone. The app is free for you — your property manager provides it.

Getting started

  1. You receive an invitation from your property manager — as a QR code or invitation code, for example by letter or notice board.
  2. Download the CasaHero app from the App Store or Google Play and scan the QR code or enter the code.
  3. Create your account with your email address and a password — done. Your apartment is linked automatically.

Report an issue

  1. Tap “Report issue” in the app and pick the matching category, for example plumbing, electrics or heating.
  2. Add a photo and a short description — so your property manager can assess the problem right away.
  3. Send it off. Your property manager sees the report immediately, and you can track its status in the app at any time.

Find emergency services

  1. For urgent emergencies such as a burst pipe or heating failure, the app shows suitable on-call services outside business hours.
  2. You see immediately who is responsible and how to reach them — no searching, no waiting on hold.

Submit a request

  1. For general matters — such as house rules, service charge statements or a drilling permit — submit a request directly in the app.
  2. The entire history stays documented: you can always see what you asked and what your property manager replied.

Submit meter readings

  1. When a reading is due, you see the request from your property manager in the app. Take a photo of the meter and enter the value.
  2. Your property manager receives the reading digitally — no postcard, no note in the stairwell.

View documents

  1. Your property manager provides important documents such as house rules or your service charge statement digitally.
  2. You can access all documents in the app at any time — wherever you are.

Track status

  1. Every report and request has a status — from “Received” to “Resolved”.
  2. You always know where things stand without having to ask.

For property managers

As a property manager, you work in the CasaHero web app at your desk — with a real-time overview of all cases, search, filters and history.

Getting started

  1. Sign up on casahero.de — the first 30 days are free.
  2. The setup assistant guides you through the first steps: confirm company details, create your first property, invite team members.
  3. Then invite your tenants — with QR codes or invitation codes generated directly in CasaHero.

Handle reports

  1. All tenant reports arrive in a structured dashboard — with photo, category and unit assignment.
  2. Set the status, assign the report to a caretaker and keep track of its progress.
  3. Every step is documented — if questions or disputes arise, you have the complete history.

Invite tenants

  1. Generate a QR code or invitation code for each unit — individually or in bulk for printing.
  2. Your tenants register themselves; the assignment to property and unit happens automatically.

Manage on-call & emergency services

  1. Store on-call schedules and emergency services for your properties — with responsibilities and hours.
  2. In emergencies outside business hours, your tenants automatically see the right contact — the on-call phone stays in the office.

Provide documents

  1. Upload documents and share them precisely — with individual tenants, units or entire properties.
  2. Your tenants find the documents right away in the app — no more phone calls asking for copies.

Send messages

  1. Communicate with individual tenants directly in CasaHero — the history stays with the case.
  2. For announcements to many tenants — such as maintenance work — use bulk messages to selected properties or units.
